Take me to scheduling.
Growing up, I was constantly surrounded by physical therapy as members of my family recovered from ailments such as whiplash, complex regional pain syndrome, and sports related injuries. These personal experiences have allowed me to see the importance of returning to the things you enjoy, whether it’s weight lifting, walking on the beach,, or holding your loved ones.
Through personal and professional experiences, I’ve learned that the typical injury needs more than just one type of treatment. That’s why I combine traditional Physical Therapy exercises with hands-on treatments (ART, Therapeutic cupping, trigger point dry needling, manual stretching, joint mobilizations/manipulations, Blood Flow Restriction training, and taping). I also have a strong passion for health and healing optimization, and frequently educate patients on other aspects of their life that are negatively impacting their health.
Dr. Elliott graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Bradley University in 2016 and spent his first 2 years with a company that specializes in manual therapy. During this time, he took several Continuing Education Courses in Manual Therapy to become more refined in Myofascial release, Therapeutic Taping, Joint Mobilizations, Manipulations, Trigger Point Dry Needling, and Therapeutic Cupping. Over the next 3 years, he continued to practice while managing multiple Physical Therapy clinics. He has practiced in Louisville Kentucky, Montgomery Alabama, Naples Florida, Manhattan, and Miami.
Most recently, he practiced in Naples Florida and treated several aging golf and tennis athletes while working in a clinic that specializes in Vestibular Rehab.
“Working with Matt has been incredible! I have been in and out of physical therapy for my neck injury since 2016, and Matt is by far the best physical therapist I have worked with. Not only does Matt work with me on exercises to benefit my injury long-term, but he also specializes in many different areas of pain relief such as needling, cupping, etc. These allow me to complete my exercises and go through my week without any pain. I couldn’t recommend Matt enough!”

How to get started
-
Navigate to the “Schedule” tab, and schedule an initial evaluation. Not ready to schedule? Fill out a form below for a free phone consultation to further discuss your case, and what we can do to help.
-
During your initial evaluation, your therapist will take several measures with the intent of identifying the injured tissue, the mechanism of injury, and your current physical capabilities. This will be the foundation for tailoring each session to your needs. This may involve measuring balance, flexibility, strength, and special tests for diagnosing injury.
-
Treatment sessions typically consist of your therapist performing hands on therapy (think cupping, massage taping, etc), followed by exercise. You should notice a size able improvement after just one session.
-
After just a few sessions, you’ll be back to the activities you enjoy. Whether it’s walking, fishing, or caring for your children. The time to start is now.
